How To Solve Anxiety Issues During COV-19? #playtime #withme

Play time is a great way to expand the mind and soothe the spirit.  We are all facing anxiety with this new way of life.  It was drastic and unexpected to the everyday ordinary person.  So, we paired up some of the stuffed animals into a gift set of three.  Two are 3 x 8 inches and one is miniature 2 x 3 inches.
They are Ty Beanie Babies from the 1990's.  We have a huge variety for you to choose from.
Dogs, cats, birds, fish, monkeys, bears, dolphins, whales, zebras, giraffe, lizards and much more!
You'll find them in our Etsy shop, Pioneer Fundraiser >>>>>Click Here to pick up a cute set today! <
#playtime #withme whether you are 3 or 83.  There is something amazing that happens when you use your imagination to relieve stress and anxiety.  Do the things you used to do when you were a kids.
Color or paint with no direction in mind.  Just go with the flow and follow the feelings inside of you.
Go outside and plant a garden and play in the dirt.  Touching the plants and ground has a healing effect all it's own.  It's called, Grounding.  Look it up.

Those with an anxiety disorder are really feeling the brunt of this of new stay at home way of life.  I don't know about you but I really enjoyed the times that I wanted to go somewhere for a visit or just a drive to the beach.

I live with a lot of restrictions due to my Lyme disease and what it has changed in my life as far as my health goes.  I've pretty much been a home body now for the last 15 years.  I've had to wear a mask due to chemical sensitivity disorder.  The one I use is from a great company that has a coconut charcoal filter that fits inside my mask shell liner.  I just replace the filters when I notice it gets harder to breath.  I wash the shell every month.

Out of necessity I started making masks along with the help of my dear husband (DH) when he lost all of his accounts.  I never expected my little Etsy shop, Markets Of Sunshine
to actually bring in an income that would see us through an entire month.  But, in April it sure did do just that.  Our sewing machine did not get a break morning, noon or night.

We continue to make masks for local friends and family members.  One big box retailer even approached us to  make masks for their employees.  The ones that corporate had sent was very uncomfortable and just paper.

Things are finally calming down and we have room to breath now.  It's a good thing because last week I was making tassels and was tearing fabric into thin strips.  Bad idea!  I wound up tearing a muscle in my right shoulder in the process.  The bad thing about this is I can not take any pain medications due to my reaction since getting Lyme disease.

Thankfully, the hot water bottle came to the rescue and just plain old not using my right arm for a few days.  I made an appointment with my functional medicine chiropractor so he can use the laser treatment to reduce the inflammation and speed up the healing process.  That machine has been a life saver for me in so many ways over the last 2 years.

CHALLENGE

Today, I challenge you to be a kid again.  Do the things that you used to do when you were a kid and put all the adult things on the back burner.  If you are not able to do much because of low energy or mobility issues.  Then just do what you can right in your chair or couch.
Color with a buddy.  Call up a friend and plan an hour of just talking and coloring together.  Really!

Okay, that's all there is to solving this anxiety issue due to the COV-19 stay at home issue.

Now, it's up to you to make the next move.  Don't just keep doing what you've been doing.  It won't change anything.  But, if you put some of these ideas into practice you'll find out which one works best for you.  Once, you find your key to unlocking the stress and relieving the anxiety.  You'll have the power in your hand to keep moving forward and not stay in the darkness.

Come into the light and #playwithme

Sending You Sunshine,

Marsha

Junk Journal Embellishments Pocket Insert Tutorial

How are you doing staying at home and keeping safe?  I hope you have organized your entire house by now.  I am working on my craft supplies and sewing supplies in my home office.
I have gotten so much done in 2 months.

The last to be organized and put away are all my fabric pieces and scraps.  I store them in those big Thirty-One Gift tote bags.  They hold around 100 different fabric types.  I lay them vertical so I can see the ends and know what is there at a glance.

In the meantime, I am also using up lots of the paper and fabric scraps in my stash and posting a DIY video on my YouTube channel.

I'm trying to reach 1000 subscribers this year, 2020.

I'm at 60 right now.  When I reach 100 subscribers I will do a giveaway for a $10 credit in my Etsy shop, Markets of Sunshine
When I reach 1000 subscribers I will giveaway one of my new Subscription Boxes:

Stay At Home and Make Something Awesome! - Mini Travelers Notebook and Journal

Is it time to go outside and play yet?  Nope!  Not if you are over 60 years old.  Have a pre-existing condition or a weak immune system.  Young or old you can catch this COV-19 virus.  No one knows how anyone's body will respond to the virus.  One thing is for sure though, it is not a illness you want to contend with at all!

So as a way to help you enjoy staying at home I've started a series on my YouTube channel called
"Stay at home and sew, craft and just have fun making something awesome with me!

First up is a mini travelers notebook and journal.  I'll list the supplies below.  So you can gather them up and have them ready when you watch the video.
