A Better You Challenge For The New Year - Group Support

Start off the new year with a little challenge called,

"A Better You"!  It will consist of two things.

First, organize your craft room and keep it tidy all year long.

I'll post pictures of my before craft room and the work in progress after pictures every month in a new blog post.  You can follow along and post your pictures in the Facebook group at the link below.
Sign-up for my newsletter that goes out every Tuesday for a chance to win a quarterly prize from my handmade Etsy shop, Markets Of Sunshine just for taking part in the challenge.  You must have a USA address to receive a prize.

Second, make healthier food choices like going organic by replacing one food a month from conventional grown to organic grown.  I promise you'll feel better than ever.

I'm on a rotation diet from my doctor.  I will be working with a health coach or dietician starting in January to help me add in the other pieces of the puzzle that I seem to be missing.

I have eczema on and behind my ears supposedly from food allergies.  We'll see if this new program solves that issue.
I also am missing an important probiotic in my gut. So I'll be starting on a probiotic too.

If you have any health issues you should find out if a functional medicine doctor or one that specializes in gut health can help resolve your issues.

You can follow along with me in the Facebook group as I share my experience with this new program.  It will be lots of fun!

That's it!  Are you up for the challenge?  If so, just get started now with an action plan.

See you in the new year.

Year End Review Of 2019 Organizing Challenge By Markets Of Sunshine

2019 Organizing Challenge year end review.

Out of all the rooms in my home that needed to be organized the most was my home office and craft room.  I'm happy to announce that we finished organizing and cleaning every room in our house with the exception of the garage.  That will have to be tackled in fast approaching new year of 2020.

My craft room has one final shelf to be put on the wall and then my organizing for that room will be complete.  Yay!  I'll take a video and show you the final results with my first blog post in January 2020.

Did you do the challenge with us?  If you did you must be very proud of what you were able to accomplish in 2019 now that your home is more organized and less cluttered.  It will always be a work in progress for us.  The daily to-do-list is always filled with more than we can get to that day.
So like most of us it gets pushed to the next day and something on that's day list gets moved to the next and so on.

Until the end of the year is staring you in the face and you look at that to-do list and see that there were just some things that did not get done.  But, never fear the things that still need doing.  Look back at what you did get done and stand up tall and reward yourself for a job well done!

I've already made myself a challenge for the new year.  Here it is...My challenge for the new year is to keep my craft room orderly and the floor clear at all times.  That will keep me very focused and busy picking up after myself when I am working on a project.

My 2nd challenge is to follow my rotation diet and heal my gut issues for the new year.  I am working with several qualified health care professionals that will be helping me reach this goal.
I'm already feeling better and sleeping better than I have in the last 15 years just by getting off the foods I was allergic too.  And, by getting off all the supplements that I no longer needed to be taking for my Lyme disease and endocrine system.

Now that I have a list of foods to avoid I can now read product labels which includes the supplements so I don't keep aggravating my body and causing inflammation.

So, tell me what you have challenged yourself to do in 2020.

Leave me a comment below or reply back to my newsletter that will be going out to your inbox every Tuesday.

See you all when all is new!

Sending You Sunshine,

Marsha

Altered Book For Unique Junk Journal Keepsake Gift Idea

Make a junk journal using a book that is altered makes a great gift idea for keeping a daily gratitude journal.

Watch this video of one of my past altered books that I sold in my Etsy shop, Markets Of Sunshine.

Do you have a book that has a beautiful cover that is just sitting on a shelf not being used?

Well turn it into a junk journal with a few simple steps.  It's a great project to do while sitting on the couch with one of your favorite shows running in the background.

To get started pick out a good size book with lots of pages.  Then start removing half the pages.

You want to be able to embellish each page which will add bulk back to the book.

I usually tear out every other page.  In some cases you'll need to take out 3 or 4 pages at a time if it is a really thick book.

Then get out all of your craft supplies and start putting together a beautiful foundation of layers on each page.  Watch the video to get inspiration.

This will be a new product line coming to my shop for 2020.  So be sure to Favorite my shop so you can grab one of these works of art for yourself.

Sign-up for my mailing list and receive 30% off your order.

All orders of $35 or more ship free in the USA.

Thanks so much for stopping by and watching my video.
