Custom Color Envelopes: Handmade By MarketsofSunshine

Are you ready to start the new year of 2017 with style? I know we are ready and waiting to see what the new year has to offer us.  But, we don't just sit around waiting.  No!  We plan things ahead of time so that we can be successful in reaching our dream goals.  To help us do that I made these color envelopes to use with my own cash envelope budget system.  I know there are other cash systems out there and they did inspire me to give it a try myself.  

But, my system is a little different.  First, I have a savings envelope.  Second, is the new car envelope.  Third, is the pay off credit card debt envelope.
My grocery spending is the same month after month so there is no need to have an envelope for that category.
We don't eat out so there is no need for a dining out envelope.
So, you can tailor the envelopes to what your families needs and priorities are in your life.

All of our custom color envelopes are handmade in our MarketsofSunshine home studio in Florida.
Fiber artist Marsha Jaramillo, that's me, stitches each envelope insuring that they won't come apart.
                                               

  

These pretty envelopes are double stitched at both ends to make sure they won't come apart and will last a long time.  They are made from acid free paper and card stock and come in a variety of beautiful colors to suit any occasion.

Vendor Events: Makets of Sunshine at 3 Sister's Ice Cream Palace

For the last two months Markets of Sunshine has joined the Food Truck Bazaar event in Orange City, FL the first Sunday of the month.  It is organized by a small business owner in Seminole County.   We are moving on to support a local business in West Volusia where we live.  Our goal has been to help the small local business owner's in our community to grow their customer base.  While at the same time spreading the word about our eco-friendly family friendly handmade products as well as educational children's products that we promote and sell at the events. 

We found a local business in Lake Helen, FL, 3 Sister's Ice Cream Palace that is hosting a monthly music event the 3rd Saturday of each month.  They will be having a craft and music event on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1:00 -5:30 p.m.  The craft event will be showcased from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. and the music by local musician Tammie Johns from 6-8 p.m.  We will be setting up a tent and selling at this event.

1.  What made you decide to open your  own Etsy shop?

I opened my Etsy shop because I was making jewelry as a hobby. And had started building up stock. I thought what am I going to do with this jewelry, and a relative had recommended Etsy. So I went on Etsy and liked what I saw and opened my own shop. 

2.  What has been your biggest challenge as an independent shop owner?

Getting my shop's name out to the public. Promotion is an ongoing process. Always looking for opportunities to promote my shop.

3.  What do you enjoy the most about being a part of Market of Sunshine co-op?

What I enjoy about being a part of Market of Sunshine co-op is the true friends I have made.  Everyone works and play so well together. And I think that is part of the reason that we have grown to where we are today. That and a lot of hard work.
