 Here is the interview that I conducted with Kallie:

1. Kallie would you share something with us that you would like us to know.

When I was younger I liked to watch my Grandma sew, but I never wanted to learn. Then I had to take sewing in school and I hated it.  I did love to make crafts and macrame, and I loved selling my work in California, before I moved back to Oklahoma when I was 21. 

I started to pick up sewing when I was a manager in a fabric store.  I remember my first outfit that I made of a baby's shorts and a top. I first sewed the shorts upside down, which my sister-n-law helped me to fix right. I still have that outfit.  I didn't give up, I kept going and started to put my sewing in craft fairs and won first place ribbons and ever since then, I have been sewing  for clients til this day, I love sewing now and have been doing it for over 30 years.

2.  I read on your profile page that you are from Muldrow, Oklahoma.  Can you please tell us what you like best about where you live.

 I like living in Oklahoma now, but when I first moved back here it was a culture shock.  People are so friendly.  I love country living and all my family lives real close.

3.  Do you have another local venue where you also sell your items?

 Yes I sell at a local craft mall and on 3 other venue's, although etsy is the most active in sales.

Here is the interview that I conducted with Della.

1. What are some things that you use for inspiration when you are designing an item for your shop? 

 I love ribbon and I'll often design a project around it.  I'm also inspired by color combinations that I see around me such as in nature, the current color trends in home decor and in attractive ads.  I'm always thinking about "What makes me buy this product?"  Is it the packaging, color, message?

 2.  Do you ever get custom orders?  If so what advise do you have for other team members on how to make sure that your customer is happy with your finished product. 

Yes.  I do quite a bit of custom work locally.  For my online shops, I offer personalized messages in my cards and color customization on some of my gift items.  Communication helps with customer satisfaction.  To make custom work profitable, I find it helps to have a basic design that you then customize.

3.  What are your short-term goals for your shop?   To have 150 items.  What are your long-term goals for your shop? 

To offer kits with instruction and monthly subscription items.

 4.  Are you currently having any sales? 

Yes, I've steadily increased my sales this year.

 5.  Do you have any current coupons for your shop?

Here is the interview I conducted with Rafael:

1. I know you have recently moved your Vintage 50s Treasures shop over to your main shop Jeanpatchbymk on Etsy, tell us why you did this?

We opened our Jeanpatchbymk shop in 2008 that had handmade items as the main focus. But, we had vintage collectibles that we wanted to sell so we opened the Vintage 50s Treasures shop thinking that separating the items would be best.
Over the years it has become harder to run two shops so we had to step back and ask ourselves what could we do different?
So we decided to combine the two shops to give our full attention to one shop.
　
2. I read on your profile that you enjoy working with wood. What are some items that you have made with wood?

I have made custom cabinets for kitchens and game rooms. I have always helped my wife in her craft business and throughout the years she has had me make decorative shelves and wooden boxes for her.
I make the boxes for her secret compartment books.

3 What are some of your hobbies?

I help my wife in our craft business. I consider it a hobby. I relax by listening to classical music and bible recordings.

Snowflake: Hello Dear Readers,

Can you believe it is June, which means families will be planning vacations and graduation parties. Let's check in with our roaming reporter and get this week's scoop!

Sunshine: Congrats! to Class of 2012! I'm going to date myself and by sending out a hello to the class of 1981! Go Oviedo Lions! In honor of graduating classes past and present we are having a 'Class Reunion' week here at the Sunshine Farm Girl Co-op! WooHoo!

We are celebrating with Rafael of Vintage 50s Treasures! Rafael is one of the few men in this woman dominated co-op and Etsy team, but he loves every minute of it I assure you! hehe!

Here is what he had to say......

1. Where & When did you graduate high school? 
 I graduated in 1970 from Lausana High School in Bogota Columbia, South America.

2. When did you move to the U.S.? 
 December 1971

3. How did you meet your wife? 
I met my dear wife at a Bible convention in Daytona Bch, FL in 1987.

4. Tell our reader's why you support the Sunshine Farm Girl Co-op? 
 There are many reasons, first off because I want it to be a success. Everyone needs a little extra money, so I do my part in helping make the co-op a success. I know that Marsha devotes many hours to promote the co-op and I want to give her all the support I can.
